Units 2 Let Wales Ltd are committed to producing high quality sustainable industrial units, built with the environment in mind.

Afon Court, Bedwas, has been considered by Caerphilly Council as one of the first commercial developments in Wales to be fully compliant with Schedule 3 of the Flood and Water Management Act (2010); which sets out the legal requirement for sustainable drainage and the disposal of surface water.

Afon Court, and the sites currently under construction by Units 2 Let Wales Ltd, benefit from initiatives which intend to:

• create sustainable drainage by using permeable tarmac
• fully utilise natural sunlight as much as possible
• naturally harvest rainwater to prevent flooding
• create on site ponds from the harvested rain water
• create a planting/landscaping plan to fully utilise harvested rainwater and encourage natural drainage
• provide electric car charging points
